Our Story

We met at Sidney Sussex College in October 2016, where we both survived studying Engineering. Our course came to an abrupt halt in 2020 and we graduated during the pandemic. We now live in Oxford with our handsome cat, Skippy (instagram @catcalledskippy).

Jack Walton

In 2022, we spent 3 months cycling our tandem bike around Europe. After that amount of time camping and exploring together it’s no surprise we got engaged at the end of the year. Jack proposed on Christmas Day and we are so excited to get married in Cambridge, in the college where it all began!

The Day

Hopefully this is everything you need to know, but get in touch if you have any questions

Accommodation

The nearest accessible towns to the reception venue are Stowmarket and Needham Market. We have put together some hotel suggestions here, there are plenty nearby.

Parking

Paid parking in Cambridge is available but allow time, it will be busy. The closest multi-storey car park is The Grand Arcade. Alternatively, you can use the Park and Ride.

At the reception there is plenty of space to park .

Transport & Taxis

Please organise your own transport between the ceremony and reception. There will be a coach with limited seating, allocated on a first-come first-served basis. Please RSVP early if you would like a space!

Please book taxis to collect from the reception at 23:30. We recommend Kellys Cabs in Stowmarket, Stowmarket Minibus and Coach Hire for larger groups or asking your hotel for a recommendation.

Our Registry

The greatest gift for us would be celebrating and hanging out with everyone on our big day! But if you’re up for giving a gift, check out our list here

FAQs

What should I wear?

Wear something that makes you feel good! Whatever is already in your wardrobe or second-hand clothes are encouraged. There will be plenty of grass so pick shoes accordingly.

We recommend organising your transport ahead of time. There will be limited space on a coach between the ceremony and reception venue which will be given on a first-come first-serve basis during RSVP.

Can I leave my car at the venue overnight?

Yes! You are welcome to leave your car at the reception venue until you are feeling bright-eyed and ready to collect it the next day.

Thank you!

Our special day wouldn't be the same without all of you, so thank you. Our friends, families and in particular our parents are going above and beyond for us and we appreciate it more than words can say.

A special thanks goes out to the Wrinch family for letting us use their stunning barn, we promise we'll look after it!
